Key Strategies

  • ➤Follow the transcript with your cursor as the audio plays, moving word by word so you don’t fall behind.
  • ➤Type words immediately as you hear them — do not wait for the audio to finish.
  • ➤Spelling is strictly marked. If unsure of spelling, write what sounds right — any attempt is better than a blank.
  • ➤If you miss a blank, keep moving — do not rewind or dwell. Catch up to the audio.
  • ➤Use your remaining time after audio ends to review spelling in all blanks.

Scoring: 1 point per correctly spelled word. Spelling must be exact — one wrong letter = zero for that word.
