How to prepare for PTE in 30 days (2026 plan)
A realistic four-week plan — week-by-week focus, a daily routine, and the tasks that move your score the most.
Week-by-week
| Week | Focus |
|---|---|
| Week 1 | Baseline mock; fix essay/DI templates; daily Read Aloud + Repeat Sentence. |
| Weeks 2–3 | Push Speaking & Writing; drill weakest tasks; daily Write from Dictation. |
| Week 4 | Two full mocks under real timing; fine-tune pacing and test-day strategy. |
Daily routine (~1.5–2 hrs)
- 10 min speaking warm-up (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence).
- One Write Essay or Summarize Written Text — check the trait breakdown.
- A reading + listening block.
- Write from Dictation every day (fast, high-value points).
Since Aug 2025 you need a target in each component. Spend the most time where you're furthest from target — usually Speaking and Writing. A guided package builds this plan for you, and the AI coach keeps you on it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I prepare for PTE in 30 days?
Yes, if you're already around your target level and study 1.5–2 hours a day. Focus most time on Speaking and Writing, which usually carry the highest required scores.
What should I do each day?
A short speaking warm-up (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence), one writing task, a block of reading/listening, and Write from Dictation daily. Review every scored answer.
How many mock tests should I take?
Take one full mock in week one to set a baseline, then one or two in the final week under real timing.
What if I have less time?
Prioritise your weakest component and the highest-weighted tasks. A guided plan (and the AI coach) can compress this by telling you exactly what to drill.
