PTE Summarize Written Text template (2026): one-sentence method

A reliable one-sentence template for Summarize Written Text — with the word-count rules that decide your Form score.

Template

Merge the passage's main idea with its key support in a single complex sentence:

Method

  1. Find the topic sentence and 2–3 key supports.
  2. Drop examples and repetition.
  3. Join them with connectors (while, whereas, because, although).
  4. Check it's one sentence and within 5–75 words.
