Key Strategies
- ➤Negative marking applies — only click words you are confident differ from the audio. Do not guess.
- ➤Move your cursor word by word with the audio to stay in sync with the recording.
- ➤Differences are subtle: a changed preposition, a synonym, an added/removed adjective. Train your ear for small shifts.
- ➤Typically 2–7 words differ per passage. If you’ve clicked more than 7, you may be making errors.
- ➤Practice with dictation exercises daily to sharpen your ability to detect fine word-level differences.
Scoring: +1 for each correctly identified word, −1 for each incorrectly clicked word. Negative marking applies.
