Official Instructions

“The text boxes in the right panel have been placed in a random order. Restore the original order by dragging the text boxes from the right panel to the left panel.”

How Scoring Works

You earn points for each correctly placed adjacent pair. For example, if the correct order is A→B→C→D→E and you place A→B→C→E→D, you earn credit for A-B, B-C pairs but lose E-D.

This means locking in your confident pairs — especially the first and last paragraphs — protects your score even if the middle is uncertain.

Key Tips

  • ➤Find the topic sentence first. It introduces the subject with no backward references (“this,” “these,” “however”) — it stands alone.
  • ➤Look for linking words that show logical flow: “However,” “Furthermore,” “This suggests,” “In contrast,” “As a result.”
  • ➤The final paragraph often summarises, concludes, or calls to action — it rarely introduces new information.
  • ➤Track pronoun references — if a box says “They decided…”, find the box that first introduces “they.”
  • ➤When stuck on middle paragraphs, use process of elimination — narrow down by confirming which boxes cannot be first or last.
