Describe Image : Exercise-2 (Pie Chart)

This is a pie chart representing Eileen’s monthly expenses. You can tell at a glance that Eileen’s largest expense is rent and that her second largest is her car. She spends 10% of her income on food. Eileen spends 20% on her car but only 5% on entertainment, cloths and other miscellaneous expenses. Eileen puts 15% every month into savings.

This graph shows the results of a survey in which people were asked about their preferred devices for accessing the internet. People mentioned four main devices in their answers: a smartphone, a laptop, a tablet and a desktop computer. From the pie chart it is clear that the majority of people prefer to use smartphones and laptops. Nearly a third of people prefer to go online with a smartphone. In conclusion, since mobile and portable devices are the most popular choices, it is clear that many participants are accessing the internet outside their homes. The desktop computer is the least popular among the four main devices.

This chart shows the relative size of populations of countries of the European Union in both 1998 and 2007. You can see that both Germany’s and Poland’s populations share of the European Union’s Population fell from 1998 to 2007. The percentage populations of the other major countries of the European Union grew in this period. The largest growth in population share was that of Spain which increased its share from 8.3% to 9%. Both the UK’s and Italy’s share of the EU population grew by only 0.1%. In spite of the change in Germany’s population share, it remained the largest population of the European Union.
